So, we say good bye for this year. Thank you all for being there and supporting us!
Here are some impressions from what happened yesterday.
There were new strings brought on for Berlin…

…AJ from The Human Abstract relaxed yoga-style before the show…

… and As Blood Runs Black were in the studio, helping our friends in Caliban with the recording of their new album…

This was it from our side, we will get the video material to you on the usual channels and we keep you updated on what else is happening…
So THANKS again to those who were there!

Munich was all about soccer. First, team Impericon won the Impericon Never Say Die Soccer Cup…

… then there was live broadcast of the German cup in front of the club…

The night was mainly about getting ready and looking good for the last two shows… Haircuts were given out…

and after 9 people had new hair cuts, it was time to take care of facial hairs, too.

So now we are ready and good looking for you, Berlin!!!

So, todays blog is a little late, as we had to play the Impericon Never Say Die Soccercup first… Team Impericon won, did you expect anything else?
Yesterday we were in Switzerland, or maybe we were stuck in the 90´s, one could think, according to Chris´ (Vanna) style…

We cleaned up right, our merch trailer is now all tidy, so we find all the stuff for Berlin and Munich!
and a last load of washing was done, too:

The show was great, even the venue was barely half filled. But the venue was huge and so we made everybody who was there mosh hard… While the show was going on on stage, backstage people were working on new stuff, here Dan ABRB writing new riffs…

And now, after a successful soccer tournament, we will destroy Munich and celebrate an awesome last day of tour in Berlin tomorrow!
´til then!

Yesterday we were in the land of pizza.. It was a smaller monday night show in Italy. The mood was good anyway and the venue was decentlypacked. Because there was no backstage area, we chilled at the busses outside and hung out with fans, like Frankie from Emmure did:
Unfortunately there was no seperate merch area in the venue, so Vanna and The Human Abstract went ahead and sold their merch from behind the bar…

A quick look on our list shows: Switzerland tonight, then we destroy Munich and Berlin before we go home.

Here is a picture of our home for the last three weeks… Some might miss it, for example Deez Nuts on their flight home, that goes around the world (London, LA, Sydney, Melbourne) or The Human Abstract who fly to Boston, where their van is parked with which they go on a trip home for three days, crossing the USA northeast to southwest…

Thank you, Wien!
This was a great show… We went out in the afternoon to meet with Suicide Silence and our competition winners to go on the Prater Fair. Mitch wasn´t feeling well, so he didn´t come. But the rest of us had a good time, including bumper car riding and haunted houses…
Similar to that our bus parked indoor, showing off all the busdriver skills!
And in the backstage area we prepared the first Impericon christmas gifts for this year…
When Mitch felt better, the winners came backstage to get some shirts signed by him, too and they watched the Suicide Silence show from side stage. A great experience!

We´re about to go to the famous Prater fair with Suicide Silence and 10 lucky winners! But before, here is a quick review of last night for you guys: We were welcomed by a small fridge that kept refilling like magically…

As usual most of the bands went exploring the city center, being impressed by the architecture, that is older than the USA itself… Sonic of ABRB also found some nice details in the venue to explore:

The Impericon Never Say Die tour was among many other good metal tours, as a look on the program shows:

And finally, here is another insight in what living on a bus is like:

The bus was not kept exactly clean yesterday, which led to some fighting on the streets of Budapest in the early morning hours… But everything is ok, everybody is ok

Yesterday in Krakow started with a little set of inventory fixing techniques. First an old damage on the bus was fixed with a litte string…

then a brick was used to open the venue´s door..

Some bands went exploring around town, experiencing a little culture, others still had to fight the Absinth hangover from Prague… Generation Apple chilled somewhere between the Golf Pro Series for iPad, twitter and Facebook

When the doors opened, there where more than 200 people with Polish Deathcore Crew shirts…

the warm up was done in a nice sitting situation side by side…

and then off it went. From Vanna to Suicide Silence, the audience sang along and moved a lot!

To not forget the daily summary of catering: thumbs up for an almost all vegan catering, some did not like it, but the got what must have been (according to the people who got it) Krakow´s best Döner Kebab…

and now: let´s go Budapest!!!

For the second time, after 2010, the tour is in Krakow again… We are looking forward to the show!
Yesterday, in Prague we recided at an old socialist-architectured building…
Before the show, Deez Nuts had their regular extra catering

… and Frankie from Emmure had an extra nap…

Our merch had to adjust, 400 for a shirt might sound expensive at first, but hey, it´s just Czech Crowns…

During the show, the guys from ABRB joked around at their merch table…

During the bands, there was much to do then!

and after the show, there where half naked men in the backstage area once again!!

Yesterday we were in Luxemburg and Impericon was represented right!
The audience was a little held back in the beginning, but that may have been caused by the guys on stage who were still hungry. Most of us missed out on the first round of catering. One had to fight for a good portion of food.
But Dan was all the happier as he finally got to eat something

The guys fromThe Human Abstract took off right after their show and experienced the ultimate metal package. Amon Amarth and As I Lay Dying were in Luxemburg, too and THA was right there:

We have to figure out who gets which guitar now, then we will be ready to start… Praha, we are looking forward to you!

Yesterday we played the last show in Germany for now, but we´ll be back with a furious end of the tour, promise! Münster was ready to party. If you´ve always wondered what happened inside the club, right before you´re coming in, this is an example:

Also it was quickly clear, that the venue in Münster had too many white walls, what has been changed immediately, so now everybody knows who played here in 2011:

After a good show, that got better the later the evening, we took of to Luxemburg. In addition to the first pictur: here is what the venue looks like, five minutes after the audience left:

First thing to do after we arrived in Luxemburg was to make sure we look good wherever we come around…

That´s it for now, stay tuned!
